Laser marking is the process of marking (engraving, discoloring) materials or parts using a laser beam. This solution is found more and more often in industrial applications because it is durable, resistant to abrasion, high temperatures and chemicals.

We can distinguish, among others, the following laser marking methods:
  • engraving,
  • annealing,
  • discoloring,
  • ablation,
  • foaming.

The choice of the marking method depends primarily on the material we want to mark as well as the effect and quality of marking we intend to obtain.
